To maximize plant growth, the pH of your nutrients should beslightly acidic. Experienced growers consider the ideal pH for mostcrops to fall between 5.5 and 6.5. Users of General Hydroponics nutrientproducts generally do not experience problems maintaining the proper pHrange because our formulas are pH buffered. However, some importantexceptions do exist. Acid content can reach unacceptable levels whennutrient solutions are mixed with poor quality water, or when pHunstable media – such as rock wool or gravel products – are used, orwhen high plant growth rates destabilize the nutrient mix due to rapidnutrient absorption by the crop. pH Up Liquid is available in 8 oz, 1quart and 1 gallon sizes.
